1600 Central Ct, Lakewood, NJ 08701

The building for Congregation Bais Medrash Nachalas Yaakov is a single-story double-height assembly building with a mezzanine and a finished basement. It is constructed using masonry, steel, wood, and glass. The front facade is symmetrical with tall columns flanking the main entrance. The basement has a large Kiddush room with associated commercial kitchen and toilet rooms. The sanctuary space located on the first floor is sixty-eight and a half feet wide by forty-three and a half feet long and is flanked on each side by four windows, with another set of four windows on the eastern wall. The entry has a lobby, coat room, multi-fixture toilet room, Rabbi’s office and a coffee room. There are stairs on each corner at the entry leading up and down. On the mezzanine level we located the Ezras Noshim (ladies’ sitting area), women’s coat room, women’s toilet room, and a large reading room.
